SISTERS AND DAUGHTERS OF SHEBA INTERNATIONAL

   The Sheba Attitude®

"Taking care of myself so I can be healthy and strong enough to help others"

The Sheba Attitude® is named after Makeda, the ancient Ethiopian Queen of Sheba. She was emotionally and financially self-suffcient in her relationship with Solomon, the wise King of Israel. In SADOSsm classes, we learn simple strategies to develope the Sheba Attitude within ourselves. With this new attitude, a women can perceive relationships as a means to a end, not a end in itself. The new end is a greater understanding of whom the women is and how she can meet her own emotional needs. With this new attitude, she may also focus more on her health.

The Sisters and Daughters of Sheba® program is for the women who desires a radically new attitude and approach to intimate relationships. It is for women who is "sick and tired of being sick and tired" at how relationships can be stressful and unfulfilling. Sister and Daughters of Sheba® courses focus less on ways that others need to change, and more on ways women can change themselves.

Sheba Attitude® proposes that a women's idenity and thoughts are influenced by the contributions of Four Female Personality Types, Debra Ann BrodiePh.D. The Mother and Plaything (other-focused), The Amazion and Mystic(self-oriented). SADOSsm teaches women how to listen for the "voice" of each type-thus bringing a balance to the voices to create healthy and happy lives.

The Sheba Attitude® requires a paradigm shift in the way a women thinks and feels about actions of people in her life. It is a shift away from blaming others for her feelings. It is a shift toward recognizing the ways in which her own internal self-talk or thoughts may create her feelings.

In the Sisters of Sheba classes we practice the technique of the ABC's of Sheba Attitude® Development. Debra Ann Brodie,Ph.D. This strategy reduces the pressure and the stress from inside the women. The Sheba sister gains control of her emotions and is more capable of letting others be themselves. Sisters of Sheba classes are for women 21 years and up.
